Samsung laptop RAM

Hi,
I recently bought this Samsung Laptop. It says it has 1 gig of RAM, but the System Properties only show up 768 meg
Where has the other 1/4 gig gone Cheers.

Onboard graphics leeching memory is my guess, see if you can turn down the amount of memory it uses in the bios.

Thanks. I was able turn it down to 128meg, and it runs a bit quicker now
