Samsung LCD display resolutions?

What resolutions can the Samsung LE32R87BD screen handle through HDMI?

I have my pc, using an ATI HD4670 card, plugged into the TV with a DVI-HDMI cable but it won't let me go above 800x600.

I'm sure I used to have 1360*768 or something similar with a GeForce 8800GTS 640


Any ideas?

Most would do 1360x768 but the HDMI EDID was wrong in many (Samsung QC again) and you couldn't get 1360x768 mapped 1:1. Should get better than 800x600 though. I ran mine at 1280x720@60hz.

You'll get 1360x768 over VGA though.

After restarting the pc a couple of times it's now happy with me changing the resolution! very odd but it's now working at higher resolutions
