Samsung LCD TV

Hello,

I have a 26" LCD TV Samsung, and 5.1 creative surround sound speakers hooked up into my soundcard.

I have a ps3 connected to my TV via HDMI and the TV is being used as my pc monitor also.

Is there a way to use my pc speakers AND TV speakers for the PC/TV/PS3?

well the easiest way to do it would be to buy an amp have all your sound going into that and then use your headphones or speakers.

hey,

i have the TV speakers working with the PC now as i used a 3.5mm from TV - 3.5mm Soundcard

Only thing now, is getting the PS3 audio to come from PC speakers. However, i dont see how i could be so dumb. As if i did get the PS3 to work with TV and the PC speakers then that means the PC would always have to be on.

Also, there aint no way i can get it to work as there aint no connection from PS3 - TV apart from the HDMI cable.

You need a "hub" with two outputs

PS3 & PC into "hub"
"hub" to Samsung & Creative speakers.

Basically two outputs- input and output switching. If your TV has audio output, then HDMI carries audio, and for PC connect it to the TV- then from the TV audio out to the Creative speakers.

How would the PS3 connect to an hub, id lose the HDMI quality right?
