For £1200 as a main TV display.

I'm looking into HDTV and have always loved the looks of these units but there's not many solid (trusting, comparison, indepth) reviews out there and was wondering what people thought or heard about them?

Like i say, its for TV use really, maybe Xbox 360 at a later date, i don't know if that makes much difference.

Is there anyother lcd better and at 40" for that price?

I've witnessed the 50" in person, just with a static image...it was a thing of extreme beauty. Can't mention where I saw it but its obviously a shop you can walk around.

I have the 61B. I'm not sure what the technical differences are other than the colour of the bottom bit which is gunmetal grey on mine. I sure hope there is some difference though as it cost £500 more at the time of purchase :S

I'm very pleased with mine, it works excellently with the 360, looks great with HD content and is reasonable with SD.

the 61b has a better response time a contrats, the r41 is still great tho

I have this screen and my 360 is no disguised swearing! awesome on it! Must say SD signals are really poor. The newer M models have more colours and faster response but I could not justify the price difference. VGA connected PC is sharp and DVD, SKY look good on it.( only RGB) For that money it's a bargain...response time of 12ms is cool for 360 with no ghosting.
