Samsung M5/M7 Wireless speaker system.

Hello,

I'm looking to get a wireless speaker type system and the Samsung M5 or M7 seem to do what i need. ( Play music from my Android phone/tablet wirelessly)

Before buying however i was wondering if maybe there is a similar product that's either as good but cheaper, or better for similar price?

Have you had a look at sonos? Probably more expensive but brilliant.

Yeah, looked at sonos - it's seems good but double the price

Sonos are expensive, however they are very good and the App software works really well.

The Sonos speakers ( I think the Play 1's & 3's not sure about Play 5 ) do not need the bridge hardware now which reduces the cost.
From what I have been reading reviews regarding the Samsung speakers. Is that the App is not great at all to use !

Not sure on the price point but I went for the Bose Soundtouch 20 system which I think is excellent.

I use it in our kitchen/diner and is plenty loud enough.

I like the fact you get a remote with the speaker

Have to chime in with another vote for Sonos - I now have 4x Play 1, 1x Play 5 and, thanks to Amazon.it

, Playbar and Sub. Simply fantastic kit - you do have to pay ££s, but it never ceases to deliver IMHO. Apps on iOS and Android are really good, and even the Windows software decent

Another vote for Sonos, if they would just include air play then I would buy even more!

Sonos at the moment are the market leaders, even though they are expensive !

If you already have speakers, wouldn't the Chromecast Audio do the job? It's £30.

If not, I vote Sonos or Bose SoundTouch, rumour being that Sonos will be updating their line soon with bluetooth-ready models in order to match Bose.
