Samsung Microstutter?

Hello - was just about to buy a ks7000 but then saw customer reviews from John Lewis complaining of micro stutter. A further google seems to imply this is a known thing with samsung TVs, even from pro review websites.

Is this actually a thing? Or 'prosumer' nonsense. I did have a search on here but couldn't find anything definitive. Cheers team.

My old Samsung had this, motion plus problem. You had to go into service menu and adjust settings so it was fully disabled.

Samsung do seem to suffer with fimware problesm. Reason why I wouldn't buy another.

Thanks for your reply. It seems to be a bit of a gamble as all pro reviews seem to be rather positive and indicate the newer ones have less problems.... probably going to grab one tomorrow so will report back!

I have a ks7000 and haven't experienced this. I do have all the post processing for motion deactivated though.

Interesting - thanks for your input :)

As a side point it's amazing all the things you learn from reading things like AV Forums. I had no idea such a thing as 'a high speed' HDMI cable was a thing, nor that it was necessary for HDR! Blimey...

Same here. Drove me nuts.

It never seemed to happen when playing files from usb but regular broadcasts showed the problem.

Just disable all motion processing...so long as your set is 100Hz+ (true hertz I mean) then motion will be great.

No micro stutter on my KS7000 I had it quite badly on a 1080p LG OLED...

I don't use any of the motion controls on the 7000.
