Samsung MU7000 developed lines on the screen, still under JL guarantee, options?

So my TV has developed some lines across and down the screen, its still under the JL 5 year guarantee so its covered and someone is coming out to look at it on Tuesday.

Anyone dealt with them before? Do you think it repairable or will they offer a replacement? (if the latter is there any room for 'upgrading' if I pay the difference?)

One of the ribbon cables linking to the panel may have worked its way loose which would be a simple fix. I don't know what they would do if it was more severe than that but it should still be repairable.

Different set of circumstances but I had a Sony Bluetooth speaker that stopped charging a few months before the warranty expired. JL were very good, offered to send it away for replacement battery or put the full value towards picking a replacement. Ended up buying a better speaker which I still have now (5 years later). Not sure how they will handle a larger item like a TV but best thing to do is come up with some options you would like to explore and discuss it with them, the worst they can do is say no
