Samsung NC10 vs MSI Wind

Hi,

I have been looking at both of these netbooks and they have the same specs:

Intel Atom ( N270) 1.6GHz 512KB (L2 Cache)
160GB HDD
1GB RAM
6 Cell Battery
3 x USB

So I am just in 2 minds over which would be better. What are your opinions, oh and i would want the black version if that makes a difference.

Got my NC10 running windows 7 here. Very satisfied.

No experience with the other though.

plus one for the NC10, just put a 500gb hard drive in mine and theres no difference in the battery

Yeah I have heard good things about the NC10 but then the MSI Wind comes with 2 years warranty, and you can also put either Windows 7 or Mac OSX on it.

On the NC10 if I upgrade the HDD do I void the warranty?

Yes, but you would with the Wind as well I think.

Another +1 for the NC10 though. Cracking machine.

but I've often heard that the NC10 is better. The wind looks nicer though IMO.

im not saying you are but dont use the ease of installing osx on the wind as a basis of purchase. leapord runs really poor on the atom at moment horrible slowdown on everyday tasks like even youtube

Have you looked eee 1000HE?

Just got it yesterday and it's really good. I think better than the 2 that you mentioned.
Longer battery life, draft N, N280, Ram support 800Mhz also won't void your 2 years warranty if you change hdd
