I've noticed a few comments around the net about the keyboard, will this be better for writing? As compared to other standard laptop keyboard layouts?

It will be better for writing than the Eee PC or other netbooks because its keyboard is almost the same size as a regular laptop keyboard. Hence the 10.2" screen to fit the keyboard in.

I'm going to wait and have a play on one at purple shirt land. They also do insurance so if i break it while on the train or at uni...they will sort it for me.
Unfortunate that OcUK don't do laptop insurance.

I went and has a play on the white one today. It was sitting next to all the other netbooks and tbh looked the best. Really lightweight and the perfect size. Was comparing it with other netbooks for the keyboard size and the ease of hitting all the correct keys...have to say I had no problem at all. Can't wait to get mine :D

Am i right assuming that a defective new product will be swapped out straight away for a new one? they won't try and shaft me by telling me theyre going to repair the nc10.

If its with OcUK. Web note is your best bet. Explain your situation and they should do something about it.
