My dad just bought one for my mother and as we're visiting I've decided to have a quick play and let people know what it's like.
My first impressions are that, for a low-powered chip, this thing is pretty fast - windows boots in seconds, loading firefox takes a few seconds to load, but then is nippy enough. I ran the sunspider benchmark and it completed each run in 11000ms.
The casing is a lovely pearlescent effect white, which has a nice tactile feel to it. Screen goes from searingly bright to pleasantly low, but with too few steps between high and low so you may find yourself having to compromise on brightness.
Keyboard is slightly smaller than a standard laptop, but I've had no problems adapting within a few minutes.
