Samsung NC20 prices announced?

I just search google for NC20 and it came back with from prices of around £420 ish. Check it out yourself: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1B3GGGL_enGB231GB231&q=samsung+nc20&btnG=Search&meta=

When clicking through to the sites it doesnt give you any info so I wonder if this is for pre order.

I am looking forwarded to the release of this laptop.

12.1" is more in the laptop ball park rather than netbook.

interesting they might be using the new VIA nano cpu

it is, but 2 inches bigger than nc10, its still very portable. it also looks thinner than NC10 but we will see.

Its only £485 for the Samsung Q210 model which is a T5750 Core 2 Duo, 2GB Memory, 12.1", 4-6hr battery life, DVD drive etc etc + Sub 2kg weight.

That pretty much makes the NC20 pointelss.

thats a really chunky machine, i went to buy one then found out it was 3.6cm thick, its also about 0.6kg heavier than the nc20.

we shall see though

Aye, but for the money the NC20 just doesn't make sense especially considering the VIA 1.3 processor. The 1.8 benches better than the Atom but the 1.3 lags behind. Only improvement over the NC10 is size of screen and in the scheme of things this doesn’t add up, add a few upgrades and your closing in on the proper ultra portable money.

If the NC20 was better specced it would be a excellent option.
