Samsung NP700G7A RAID

Hello,

I've just bought this laptop from OCUK. The web page for the laptop says this:

Storage: 2TB S-ATAII Hard Drive (5400RPM, 1TB x 2 in RAID 0)

I've looked in the BIOS and in Windows 7's system information areas and I can find no reference to RAID at all. Am I missing something? With desktops, the RAID definately had to be setup. Perhaps laptops are different.

Performance of the drives seems to be a weak spot in an otherwise well specced machine.

Got the same laptop, it doesn't have RAID not sure why its listed as having RAID either, or at least i've never found the option for it.

I put a 256GB SSD in bay 1, used one of the 1TB internally and put the second 1TB into a USB drive caddy.

Sorted.. Much quicker boot times...
