Greetings,

so I got this monitor, no backlight bleeding whatsoever, so far everything is perfect about it, it's an August model (even had the latest FW) scanlines issue is not severe at all, BUT, it has one dead pixel. I need opinions on what to do about this, please. I have heard horror stories about this, people having to return again and again until they can find one with no pixel issues -- only to have backlight bleeding etc. etc.

Not sure if it's even visible, got to zoom in, but it's there, dead, not stuck or sub from what I can tell.

Should I learn to live with it or bother to rma?

Agreed. Send it back.

I have zero sympathy for manufactures with dead/stuck pixels even if they try to say "acceptable to have upto 3" or similar. These monitors nowdays can cost an absolute arm and a leg so they need to be flawless.

Last month I sent back an LG 32GP850 with the exact same issue, a faint blue stuck pixel. Week later decided to get the 27GP850 and had a different issue, a nasty brightness flicker.

After 3 weeks swapping and changing I finally got my third monitor, it's flawless... "touches wood"

If it bothers you I'd keep sending it back until your completely satisfied overall.

its ironic, I have a VERY low budget monitor brand, and its been great in the quality department for dead pixels and backlight bleed..
