What are everyone's expectations of the new G9 please?

I'm looking to upgrade my current monitor & the G9 looks very appealing but after reading about the 2021 upgrade I'm wondering if it'll be worth waiting for.

I know it's only guess work but do you think the price is likely to be similar to the current model? Also what GPU would be required to run such a high spec screen?

It will definitely be worth waiting for. I have the 2019 model and it suffers with really bad in dark scenes as it only had 10 lighting zones. The 2020 version suffers the same. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great monitor but if I was going to get one now I would deffo wait. I have a 3090 and I can play most games maxed out a 100fps but I still get dips below. I can’t comment on the 2020 version as that’s 240hz. Hopefully the price of the monitor will not be to dissimilar in price to the older version although I doubt it. There’s always the acer version that has similar specs.
