I know that the Odyssey is not getting released in Europe, but is it possible to order and import it? If so what is the likely cost?

I already have a Rift, but could really do with the extra resolution for my seated Sims.

You'll have to wait and see if it comes on the rainforest site, or ebay. It is only available as pre-order from the Microsoft US store and they only deliver to the USA.

To be honest since SteamVR is not available for consumers on Mixed Reality HMDs, it's kinda moot for now as your sims won't work in it until Dec or the new year.

They arnt delivering to Europe, and it won’t work with revive or SteamVR as yet anyway. As your not needing room scaling or motion controllers you could always look for a pimax4k perhaps?

The problem with Primax 4K is that it is only 3dof.

Samsung headset was one I was going to try aswell, was bit worried about the inside out tracking, lack of games but was willing to try it.

Stupid really how best Microsoft headset isn't being sold in UK. Will hold of to see if it does get UK release if not will get an occulus instead.

Well the reviews on YouTube tend to agree that these MR systems are not so good for gaming when compared to the Rift/Vive due to controller tracking, only worth it for seated sims.

I would possibly have bought one if they were available to purchase HMD only. I would have zero use for the controllers as I am interested in sitting VR only.

I have now decided to take a chance on the Pimax 8k.
