I'm looking to buy the Samsung P2370 23" as my next monitor, was just wondering if anyone bought this screen and what were everyone's thoughts as its only just come out at the start of October

My budget is £200 so this would be great! I'm looking at 23-24" monitors only (as currently have 22" 1680x1050). Also as the monitor is 1920x1080, not 1920x1200 will this have a major impact on quality for the screen size? Compared to what I'm swapping from?

You could get the Samsung SM2433BW 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor at £203.99 week offer, which has a res of 1920x1200, but less Contrast Ratio and response time if that is important. Also has good reviews.

Thanks for the heads up, although I'm not looking to buy for another 2 weeks till I get paid, but even when its back to the normal price of £212, still good like a good deal.

Although does seem a little odd that for a screen thats larger and better res is only about £10 more expensive . Any reason for this?

I believe it's because the P2370 is a lot slimmer than conventional LCDs.

Yeah I've read the info on the Samsung website and I must admit I do like the overall style/shape of the monitor/stand :)

Just I want to make sure the screen itself is of a good quality also. I thought I best ask also, whats Samsungs stance on dead/stuck pixels?
