Samsung P2370HD - Tuning Help

My girlfriend has just moved into her student house and her dad has give her this samsung tv to use as a second monitor for using with her laptop but as a tv also because its got a TV tuner built in.

Ive just had a go at tuning it for her but its not picking up any channels whats so ever. no digital or analogue.

Just wondering if anyones had problems with this model also ?

wont pick up analogue as westmidlands has switched over to digital now have you checked the arial and coax connections

Have you plugged the aerial in?

Or perhaps the aerial isn't suitable for digital.

Yeah i know midlands has switched over, shes in Derby so its east midlands. But she got a so called 'Digital' one from asda which was there own branded £8 jobby. and it did the same thing with that

So im not sure whats up with it

Internal aerials are never as good as external.

Doesn't her room have a socket connected to an external aerial?
