I have been looking into getting a new TV monitor for my PC and xbox series x , I will be used for gaming mostly, I can spend about 5 hours a day gaming, I have got two monitors in mind but not sure which one to get - 43" Samsung qn90a price around £999.00 or 48" LG C1 £999.00 ,

Now Samsung might be the best option for me as i won't have to worry about screen burn and i normal like my games bright in my room, but the down side is it only has 1. hdmi 2.1 port which will be used the the xbox, although i am running a GTX 1080ti in my pc that doesn't support hdmi2.1 anyway, but i still think its possible to get it run at 120 Hz on 1440p on the other hdmi ports which would be fine for this card..

I believe the 43” samsung is only a 60hz panel and is not the same compared the the bigger variants.
Thank you for Letting me know a lot of retail shops have this up 43" as having a hdmi 2.1 It is very confusing , Do you know if the 50" has the 220hz wouldn't want to get anything above that size .

The 50" does do 120hz but as you mentioned only has 1 hdmi 2.1, gsync apparently works with it too due to vrr compatibility but it's not on the approved list from nvidia, so you might have some issues in some games with it as it's lower range is 48hz/fps dip below that and you might have problems. The screen should also be a va panel so you will have nice black levels too. The lg oleds are approved by nvidia but then there's the risk of burn in but I do remember at one time john lewis were offering burn in protection for pc users if you paid extra for it. Another thing to consider is the 42" oled coming in 2022 from LG.
