Samsung R20

Has anyone bought one of these?

I'm thinking of getting the R20 with the T2350 chip, 1GB of ram(which I'll upgrade to 2GB so it can handle Vista) and a 120GB hard drive. (£430 including ram upgrade)

I'll just be using it for photoshop, office, films and the web so the integrated graphics card isn't a major concern for me, although the screen is... all the reviews I've read comment that the screen is poor quality... anyone have experience with Samsung screens?

I guess I'm looking for a compromise between power and mobility for under £500. I've considered the Dell Vostro but I think it's too bulky for my needs.

I've been in the same boat for the past month. Reports on the well priced T2350 model suggest the screen is not up to the quality of the earlier models which has swayed me. Also if you want it for portability you will need to buy the larger battery separately as the 4 cell isn't great. This along with replacing the ram to upgrade to 2gig has stopped me from buying it. Will probably have to increase the budget now.

Nothing worse than a bad screen, if you've got any doubts you're best to try and find one you can look at in real life or steer well clear.
