Samsung r40 bios issue

Have this strange problem, it seems to be stuck at the bios, if I press F4 early enough I can go to a boot menu, select HD and it will boot fine.
Have even managed to update to latest bios still no luck sometimes it even beeps continually loud.
anyone have any ideas. otherwise its bin fodder

Not sure about the bios issue, but I am aftera screen for my r40. Should the fault be terminal, maybe we could come to an arrangement? Save chucking it in the bin..
