Samsung R560

Hi Guys,

As Christmas is coming ever closer im thinking about treating my self to one of these, specs look very good for the price and seems to be enough umph in there to last me a while, has anyone got one / got any reviews on it other than the first couple in google?

sure this was the 1 i was looking at. doesnt it restict itself to using only 3.2 gb of the 4 gig ram?

i dont even know why it would do this?

sure i read that tho and know it can be had cheaper if u look round

Yer it can only use 3.2GB due to it being 32bit os and not 64

Its daft that you can't specify a 64bit OS at purchase!.. I've been looking at the Samsung R710 (Blu-Ray, 320Gb HD etc..) or the Acer 8920 (Blu-Ray, 1080 Screen etc..) both with 4Gb RAM and both only a 32bit OS... Very daft if you ask me!!

Got my R560 the other day, kick ass machine, rate it better than my mates Dell 1530. However it didnt come with an installed Intel Turbo Memory card ? is it worth getting one ? I know version 1.0 were a bit gimicky with review sites saying there was no speed benefit, v2.0 is out now.. anyone know more ?
