It is quite widely discussed that HDMI is limited to 60Hz. That is why many people are frustrated that the SA750 series doesn't offer DVI Dual Link as an alternative. Unfortunately you'll be unable to achieve this if your GPU doesn't have DisplayPort.

Are you certain that your XFX 6950 doesn't have displayport? AFAIK all of these model cards have at least one of these ports - though they may be in the smaller mini-Displayport format. These ports are physically smaller than full size displayport, but they will happily support a 1080p@120Hz video signal.

A simple £7 mini-displayport to full-size displayport cable like the "StarTech.com Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter Cable" can be used to connect up a HD 6950 graphics card to a S27A750D monitor and run it at 120Hz mode.

That's a good point - and also many of the 6950 GPUs come with a miniDP to DP adaptor so you may have everything you need to get started with 120Hz.

In that case have a google for "StarTech.com Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter Cable" and see what you come up with.

Unfortunately there are none of these cables on the OCUK shop, so I can't give you a direct link.

Ok thanks ,

But wheres that company based USA because its saying Dollars ?

Yes, startech is a US based cables company - however if you google the above string of text then you should find that cable (or one that fulfils the same function) for a reasonable price from reputable UK based sites.
