Hi all,

I have a wireless speaker network consisting of about 4 Samsung AKG VL350's and a Samsung Q70R soundbar. It works well - I can put all the speakers and the soundbar into a group and play the same music through them all.

Today I added a Samsung S60T Soundbar but I'm having problems getting it to work in the group. There seems to be no option to add the S60T into a group in the Smartthings App.

I also have no option to play music through Spotify over Wifi which I do with all the other devices - and the Samsung website confirms that this feature should be present on the S60T:

Streaming music via Wi-Fi
Stream music via Amazon Alexa or the SmartThings app which can link directly to your Spotify, Deezer or Tune In account.

It also states:

Wi-Fi TV connection
Connect this soundbar to your TV wirelessly for a cleaner solution with added flexibility.

But there is no option anywhere to do this, either - my upstairs TV (Purchased at the same time, a Samsung UE43T8500) finds and offers the rest of my speaker network as a wifi speaker but not the S60T.

Any ideas?

Currently all I can do with it is connect via Bluetooth, which seems like a waste of money.

I have made progress. Whilst I cannot make an audio group from the S60T, I can add the S60T to an audio group now on another device. I can also select my downstairs Samsung Q70R Soundbar as a Wifi sound source on the S60T.

However, I get no sound out of the S60T when using it in this way. If I adjust the volume of the S60T from within the Audio group section of the Smartthings app, the lights on top flash to acknowledge, but there is no sound. It will only play sound when it's the only device being played through...

In the last 13 days I have managed to get the S60T to randomly splutter out the odd note when part of an audio group, but it still doesn't work properly.

:(
