If anyones considering buying 1 I would highly recommend it.

I have rolled out about 100 17" and 19" Samsung (740n and 940n) screens where I work, and I have NEVER seen a dead pixel, once. They really are quality screens from what I can make of them.

I've just ordered the 22" widescreen Samsung, and hope I can say the same for this model.

Hope this reassures people if they're to buy one too, I'll let you know how the 22" turns out.

Thanks

Brian

lol

I don't work for samsung, I just can not fault their monitors, or the ones that I've seen of them. Even the older 15" models were superb quality - better then the competing LG's NEC's etc..

Have to say, the three Samsung TFTs I've owned haven't had any dead pixels and have been built pretty well, although one had some backlight bleed. I was less impressed with their customer service though, it was very ineffective when I needed it.

Looking at that 22" Samsung myself, along with the 20"ers from Viewsonic, Philips and Dell. It's a tough call. One of the drawbacks of internet shopping, not being able to see things in the flesh before you buy them
