I just got one of these and was marginally disappointed by the backlight bleed around the bottom of the monitor, however for £190 i thought i couldn't really do any better and after a while you forget it was there.
However upon further use of it a problem has emerged with it that i just can't stop noticing:
Around the bottom you can see the backlight bleed - ignore that. What's bugging me is the bar about an inch from the top of the screen. It's very thick on the right hand side of the monitor and fades away to the left, during dark scenes in games and films due to it non-uniform shape it is very noticable. Is this a normal problem or is the monitor damaged? What are my chances of returning it successfully (i bought it on monday) and if it's a problem with the design of the monitor what could i get for the same money that wouldn't have these problems?
Thanks in advance for any help
