It is? Everywhere I've found seems to show that they're waiting for it still.

Not sure when the release date is. But hopefully ocuk will get some of these in soon for a decent price, as it looks a cracking lcd for the money.

Ive got the 205BW, its a nice monitor although I have mentioned before that the viewing angles arent that great but its not a big deal to me really.

Coming from a 1600x1200 19" TFT it does at times feel a bit restricted vertically but Im getting used to it.

i got mine for £200 back in Jan, but if I had known about the 206BW I would have probably waited as the price isnt that much more, but Im still tempted to get another 205BW for dual monitor etc.

I would like to know about the film too.

Also if i got the 20" model, would it run 1440x900 without stretching it? I know i could get the 19" version but was thinking for the future. I currently have an X1950 Pro, but will probably get a dx10 card later on and would want to run the higher res.

it certainly is a TN Film panel. detailed spec in this PDF showing it as TN Film too. Quoted viewing angles of 160/160 everywhere are a dead giveaway as is the 2ms response time :) Fwiw, i enjoyed the Samsung SM205BW, it was one of the more impressive TN panels I've reviewed

I'm looking forward to seeing this. The 22" was a huge disappointment in gaming so I'm hoping for a marked improvement.. Good price too.

so you going with the SM205BW then? My review is here. It's still only TN Film, but it was pretty good in terms of PQ, colour accuracy, and even viewing angles, compared with other TN models I've used

I've got one Huddy, it's a great screen. Good for games too. I picked it over the Belinea because although it's 2" smaller, the res is the same and it's physically much more attractive. I thought, I'm not losing out on any actual screen space, so I'll go a little smaller/crisper, get two inputs, height adjustment, swivel, a better known name, and a more attractive screen, for over £20 less. That was on the high street too :)

...Bought 2 205bw ones before christmas. Very pleased with them, even considering a 3rd :D

Paid 199 back then. Might try one of the new ones to put in the middle although black may look a bit out of place. We'll see :)
