Samsung SM-2233RZ + Alienware M11x

I have a problem that I was hoping for some resolution to!

I have an Alienware m11x laptop, it only has a VGA output. I just ordered myself a Samsung SM-2233RZ 120hz monitor, which apparently has only DVI-D (I completely overlooked this). Is there some kind of adapter I could use?

Uh I think your screwed tbh... even laptops with DVI very very rarely actually work with real dual link DVI output - so your wasting half the point of having the panel.

I basically only want it for 120hz, will this still work if i get an adapter?

You can't get a passive VGA -> DVI adapter - active convertors are out there but >£100 and the cheap ones are worthless - talking more like £300 and even then I'm not aware of any that can handle above 60Hz output.
