Samsung SM-2253BW flicker problem

Recently purchased a Samsung SM-2253BW Aqua and I've started to notice that the screen occassionally dims and flickers - just like a light bulb would. It's not terribly often and only happens for 5 seconds or so. It's plugged into a decent belkin surge protecting 4 gang and, as the lights don't flicker at the same time the screen does, i'm pretty sure it's not a power matter.

Anyone else experienced this at all?

I've got a 2253BW and mine doesn't flicker. Wouldn't know what to suggest really.

Not sure if that model has dynamic contrast or not. That works by adjusting the backlight, so maybe it's that? (you can disable it btw)
