I bought one of these monitors yesterday and I have a slight problem with it, and I'm not sure how to remedy it.

The native resolution is 1440x900, however when I set this resolution I don't get the whole desktop on screen, there's about 2" overlap horizontally (The overlap can be accessed by moving the mouse pointer to the edge which scrolls the image).

So, how can I get the whole desktop to display without lowering the resolution? I've looked for an option in the monitor's menu but there's nothing which I can see to shrink the picture to size.

I'm running through DVI, and I'd like to keep it like that as my 360 is connected to the VGA. My graphics card is a 7600GT.

Will supply screenshots if I haven't explained myself properly.

Many thanks in advance.
