Just ordered this today, it maybe going back if I'm going to have even more ads thrown at me, a quick google search seems to show it is just a case of disagreeing with the yahoo privacy policy.
My KS7000 had a page of options during initial setup, deselected ads and all ok.
Not sure how you reset the TV to rerun setup you must be able to.
