I cant for the life of me find a driver for windows 7 64bit any ideas anyone

Why'd you need drivers for a monitor? If you can set the resolution in Win7 to what it's meant to then it works. No need for drivers

yeah would just like it to stop saying generic monitor thats all

If you can't find a Windows 7 driver try one for Vista. They quite often work.
