Samsung syncmaster 2032MW flickering problems

Hi guys,

This is what happens to my monitor but now its worse, its takes at least 10 minutes for it to turn on during that time it makes a clicking noise like its trying to start up.

Any idea how i can fix this?

I had the same problem. The problem in my case where two bulging capacitors.
Replacing them fixed the problem.

Can you please tell what capacitors you changed ? My Monitor now is not starting anymore. At the beginning it was flickering and now... black screen.

Looks more like the backlight bulb is knackered

I don't think so... The light from the starting button is also turned off. It's seems that something is not powered.

Turns out it was the capacitors got mine repaired under warranty.
