it's using a Samsung 5ms TN Film panel (LTM201UX) which is a new venture by them into the 20" market with this technology. Haven't seen much about it, but I know someone who recently reviewed it and he says:

It is a typical TN panel but on of the better ones. The viewing angles
need to improve on 20" TN panels but it's nothing critical for most users.
It's not suited for working with colour; this applies to TN panels in
general, but it's a little worse than 17 or 19 inch TN panels. If you have a
white background and draw a blue box in each corner you can see colour
differences because of the limited viewing angles.

The gaming performance was okay but not flawless. You could see some
trailing when scrolling a white page with black text and it's not as fast as
730/930BF for example. There's room for improvement but it's a fast 20
inch panel - no doubt. No overdrive trailing was visible and that was a
nice thing.

But at a very low price the 204B is indeed an attractive monitor for many
regular users

Thanks for that baddass, I know for most gaming needs a 19" is the better option... viewsonic vx922 for example but I'm after the higher rez as well.... Im greedy like that LOL I only want it all :p

Will see if there are more reviews closer to the time of buying and if nothing else I can always write a review for here if I get it.

no worries. It might be a good option if you want a higher res. There are also some other good models around like the Belinea 102035W as well as some others emerging soon which might be worth looking at
