I got myself a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW monitor yesterday. I use my laptop (Dell XPS m1710) as my base unit whilst at work and just plugin monitor, keyboard & mouse etc.
When I first plugged it in yesterday it looked fantastic and was displaying a hefty resolution which was on par with the Dells own built in TFT. but when I got in this morning and plugged the monitor back in it will only display up to 1280 x 1024 and doesn't even have the option to go any higher!!!
Anyone know what the issue could be???
