I think you need to be more specific. It's a 27" 60Hz PLS monitor. You CAN use it for gaming like any other monitor. Granted, it's old (2011), not 144Hz, and it doesn't have FreeSync or G-Sync, so there are naturally better monitors available, as well.

The most probable obstacle would be the input lag (~28ms). Which prevents proper competitive twitch gaming. But like you said, you're not a massive gamer. All in all, it should be fine for your needs.
