I was getting very close to ordering a T220, when I saw a thread elsewhere that inferred that Samsung doesn't make all of the screens in the T220. Apparently they make some, but also source from other manufacturers.
According to the website in question, I needed to look for the following:
X-xxxxxxxAx-xxxx: Samsung panel.
X-xxxxxxxLx-xxxx: AU Optronics panel.
X-xxxxxxxDx-xxxx: CMO panel.
X-xxxxxxxIx-xxxx: CPT panel.
So, armed with that info I had a look at a T220 in a local store. What I found was the following serial number:
TW22H9XQA02600H, which doesn't appear to conform to any of the above options.
Any thoughts?
