Hi guys,
ever since i purchased my T240 i get a dividing line across the screen horizontally when ever i do certain things. e.g. watch a movie (used several different softwares, its all the same) or certain games. It does not happen throughout the entire movie or game play only specific scenes.
At first i thought it was my graphic card but then i remember i did not have that problem when i had my older screen, so to double check i plugged that in and it was fine.
i've deleted screen drivers and reinstalled to no good use.
i've downloaded latest drivers from samsung website again no use.
i've tried a friends screen too and that worked fine.
i've played around with the buttons on side in different modes and again no use.
i would also add when i installed photoshop it also told me that my screen was not collaborated properly. I played around a bit with the software that came with it but it did not do anything.
i've also played around with different resolutions but when i do this the only thing that changes is the line that divides the screen only goes higher up the screen or lower.
i tried the other different hertz speed thats available (59, it was on 60) and that did nothing too.
Anyone have any ideas? or is it a faulty monitor? is there a software out there which i can use to test the screen?
any help would be greatly appreciated
