Samsung T240 - Question

I have the T220 &T260. There were no HDMI cables included in either box, you do get dvi cable, vga cable usb cable (in the case of the T260), power cable, driver disk, a screen cleaning cloth.

Im using a hdmi cable on the T260 and theres no real difference in picture quality vs DVI tbh (although my BIOS screen looks better for some reason :cool:)

Out of interest how much are you paying for the T240?
 
brought it now cost me £239.99

shame didnt get it earlier as it was £15 cashback and on a deal :)

yeah DVI to HDMI no difference in quality DVI is fine by me..
 
My T240 came with DVI, VGA and Power cables, aswell as a USB cable and a screen cleaning cloth (And all relevant discs.)

Is a great screen, with some tweaking on it you will love it :D.
 
I think by tweaking he means messing with the brightness and presets. The screens come with pre-configured settings for games, internet, text, movies...). Btw a word of advice, the screens are way to bright at 100% brightness...if you value your retinas turn it down a bit.

£239? I almost don't want to tell you how much pc world have it for...
 
By tweaking I mean in the OSD menu's, plus I've done a lot in the nVidia control panel, now games just look incredible!
 
Every screen has an On Screen Display, this allows you to change things such as contrast level, brightness etc from a hardware level.


The nVidia control panel allows tweaking at a software level (this may just be for when you connect with a DVI Cable, but VGA might work aswell.)

That's the settings I use (slightly extreme I know, but looks good :p)
