Wonder if someone knowledgeable can settle a debate between wifey and myself. She bought a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8" screen last week. This morning she was trying to set up screen sharing with the Samsung TV in the bedroom so movies, shows, clips etc. can be transmitted from the tablet to TV and the bigger screen. Although the TV could see the tablet, could not get the tablet to see the TV.
Google searching seems to indicate although Allshare (now called Screen Mirroring) is installed on the Tab 3, it is somehow crippled or unable to perform this function.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case and, or if it is possible an idiots guide as to how to get it working. (Needless to say the Galaxy ships with no manual or worthwhile instructions).
