So, I bought a Samsung RU7400 TV.

There doesn't appear to be an 'aux in' for wired headphones.

Is there a workaround?

P.S. Yes I knew this before purchasing.

You can get a dongle to plug wired headphones into - not an ideal solution but it works.

EDIT: Several threads on this online - your options are to either use a BT dongle or a DAC/convertor via either the optical or ARC options.

Thanks for response. It looks as if I will need both a DAC as you've mentioned, as well as an AMP to power some 250ohm headphones I'm looking at (DT 990s).

With that in mind.

Does anyone know of any reason why a Creative Sound BlasterX G6 wouldn't work with a Samsung TV?

Well, it didn't work.

Sound does come through the DT 990's, but, it's almost like the AMP part of the Sound Card isn't working, because it's quiet, and neither the volume control on the Creative Sound Blaster or the TV increases/decreases the volume.

Any thoughts?
