So I'm looking to get myself a nice new monitor, primarily used for desktop work but also a little bit of gaming. I have two laptops my own personal laptop which is a Asus ROG G751J with a nVidia 980 24GB RAM, it has HDMI out and Mini Displayport out. I also have my work laptop which has a standard displayport out, I'd like to be able to switch between the two easily
So I was looking at the BenQ PD3200U or PD3200Q, what attracted me to those was the included KVM. The PD3200U is probably a bit out of my price range though.
Then I stumbled across the Samsung U32H850 which budget wise I think I can stretch to and the UHD QLED screen does look nice.
However, what are my options around KVM? Is there a good enough KVM which can take inputs from the two laptops and display to the Samsung, or would I be best just having the keyboard and mouse plug in to a KVM and manually switch inputs via the monitor?
