Hey everyone, been looking at the new Samsung 4k UHD Bluray player that's out. Looks pretty nice, although I might wait for price to drop a bit before I get one. The question I have though is what the difference is between the K8500/EN model and the K8500/XU model, as I have seen these two about at different places but can't actually seem to find out what the difference is between the two. Is there a difference? Am I just being a moron and it's really obvious? Does it even matter?

Any insight would be great. Thanks guys :)

I imagine one would be the UK version and the other the US? Only thing that comes to mind.
 
I was thinking something along those lines, but both seem to be sold at UK sellers, so it's just a bit confusing. I don't want to end up getting the wrong one, when I do finally decide to get one.

Looking at this thread the Panasonic gets a lot more love even though its expensive.


So then..... Who's bought a 4k player? :)

Personally I`m waiting for Sony's effort next year before I decide.
 
Necro, but it's happening again. Some newly released blu ray discs refuse to play. The 9500 model got a firmware update to remedy this, but Shamsung are ignoring customers of other models. Only bought it 18 months ago. Not pleased. :mad:
 
Never understood the logic of getting the sammy. The UB900 at the time blew it away ....And still does an amazing job .
