Hey chaps,
I've got the above TV and have owned it for 3 or 4 years now and subsequently the warranty would have expired by now.
I went away on 21st September for a few days and when I left the TV was working perfectly. I came home on the 23rd and didn't try switching it on until the 24th at which point I found it wouldn't turn on. I would have left it on standby when I left on the 21st.
I have tried plugging it in a separate wall socket and also tried swapping the 10A fuse with another one to see if it was that but no joy either way.
Has this happened to anyone else with a Samsung TV here? I've seen that there was a bit of an issue a few years back with Samsungs with capacitors blowing but this isn't something I've looked at or changed myself before. If it was a blown capacitor, how would I know it is?
Oh and I refuse to pay Curry's £95 plus parts to repair it. At that rate I might as well just buy a new 32" TV!
Cheers for any help,
J
