Looking to replace my main TV (40" LED Samsung, about 8 years old)

Ideally want to go for another Samsung. I've been looking at the following models -

KS7000 - 55" £899
KS7500 - 55" Curved £1199
KS8000 - 55" £1399
KS9000 - 55" Curved £1599 (with "free" Samsung curved soundbar)

What is the difference between the models? I'm guessing the 7000-7500 and 8000-9000, the difference is the curved screen? But what's the difference between the K7000 series and the K8000/K9000?

I'll be looking to use a PS4 pro on there plus netflix and Sky HD.

Yeah it is getting close to OLED territory. I do really like the curved model though, which is £300 more than the 7000. But then for another £400 you can get the 9000, which is a higher model and comes with a £300 soundbar, making it only £100 more expensive. But then at £1599 you're not far away from OLED TV's. :\

OK, just come back from Curry's having viewed them all and still having trouble deciding!

It's going to come down to how much I want to spend I think.

£900 - KS7000 - 55" LED HDR + keep existing Samsung Soundbar.
£1600 - KS9000 - 55" LED HDR Curved + Samsung Curved Soundbar.
£2000 - LG OLED55C6V - 55" OLED HDR Curved + LG Soundbar.

Ruled out 2 at least -

KS7500 - not sure it's worth £300 more than the KS7000.
KS8000 - may as well spend £200 extra and get the KS9000 with a soundbar.

Unless there's a good deal on the KS7500 which puts it closer to the £900 of the KS7000?

Any further thoughts?

OK just found a site doing the KS7500 for £999 shipped with a discount code, decisions....

OK KS7000 it is :)

Now to find the best price, £899 delivered is the cheapest I have seen.......

buy from John Lewis and you get 5 year guarantee for free. They also give you 30 days to price match it. So if a competitor has it on offer for £400 next week they will match it and refund you so long as it's within their match period of 30 days or whatever it is. Possibly 60 days.

Awesome, thanks. That's where I'm seeing it for £899 delivered :)

OK, still can't make my mind up, I've taken another look and 55" is the largest I could go to on the KS7000 due to the feet. If I wanted larger, I would need to go for the KS9000. I also really prefer the look of the KS9000 over the KS7000

I could spend a bit more (well, £700 extra) on the 55" KS9000 and get the soundbar. Or go all out and get the 65" with soundbar -

£899 KS7000 keep existing soundbar.
£1599 KS9000 55" Curved with Samsung HW-J6500R soundbar.
£2150 KS9000 65" Curved with Samsung HW-J6500R soundbar.

How much trouble is there with the curved screens? Is it a case of some have issues and some don't? The 55C6V has also dropped to £1799 from £1999 which doesn't help :p Comes with the LG SH7 soundbar. So 4th Option -

£1799 LG OLED55C6V with LG SH7 soundbar.

Amazon 4K (The Grand Tour :D), Netflix 4K and PS4 Pro are all incredible on the TV, very happy with the purchase :)
