Samsung Warranty - Saying Vodafone proof of purchase isn't enough

I'm trying to issue a warranty claim with Samsung for a device I have on contract with Vodafone. Samsung said they would go ahead with the warranty claim but they required proof of purchase for the device so I contacted vodafone and requested this from them. They sent me a PDF document with my details, IMEI number, date of purchase and device name

It is a simple looking document but it is an official document from Vodafone however Samsung has said the document is invalid because their is 'no store stamp/signature' - Vodafone won't be able to provide anything else as they've already done their part - Can any one advise what I do next as Samsung aren't going to go any further

Why not just get it done directly through Vodafone?

When I had an issue with my samsung i dropped it in to the three store who shipped it off to Samsung. Three also gave me a loan phone whilst it was away to Samsung.

Yes, get the shop you bought it from to sign and stamp the document.
Then the document is certified, thus enough for Samsung, else you could have pdfed it yourself.

Sony does same thing. Won't accept email confirmation from Vodafone. Require a proper receipt or no warranty repairs. I'm still fighting this after 4 months!

If you'd bought an iPhone, you wouldn't have this problem.

Pretty much why I left Samsung after owning the S2 S3 S4 and S5.

iPhone is vastly superior for people who don't have time to deal with BS. Actual phone itself is not as good, maybe 90% of the Android but far superior in other areas.

Did you get the handset from a VF store ?

Nip in and explain the situation. Be polite and patient, if you want to go direct to Samsung I'm sure they can sort something out.

That said, I am confused why you are going direct to the handset manufacturer. You have a contract with Vodafone, and they will be only too happy to get it looked into for you.

I'd go with Vodaphone as others have said.

I had some fun trying to get a warranty repair with them for a printer, in the end after about 3 weeks (I was trying Samsung as it was an EOL unit I picked up cheap) I said sod it and took it back to the retailer in the end and paid more for a different model.

Outside Korea Samsung customer service is terrible.
In Korea they will do anything for you. However their QA in Korea is terrible and their stuff breaks within months of buying it so you spend a lot of time taking your stuff to the service center, though they often fix it while you wait.
