Has anyone used or got the Samsung WB2200F?

I'm looking at getting one because it's got two grips so this helps me and it's got wifi and NFC @£314

I was also looking at the Nikon D3300 but that's a bit out of my price range.

Thank for looking in.

Will you actually use WIFI and NFC? The problem with cameras like this is they spend the money adding in features that won't be used often while sacrificing the image quality. Going for a DSLR will give you much pictures for sure.

I would use the NFC but you're right.

Haven't got or used but it gets some very mediocre reviews.

Been reading some more and your right too. I will save more for a D3300 kit.

Thanks guys.

Edit= Just found the D3300+kit for £335 on www.hdewcameras.co.uk looking at the reviews for the site now.
I just ask Jessops if they will price match as the Birmingham shop is not far.

Do you think the Nikon D3300 is ok? sorry about asking all this.

The only caveat with buying from HDEW is the fact it won't be UK stock and you won't have any warranty with Nikon, but HDEW will cover it for 3 years. Obviously if they go under, you're on your own. Most people don't have a problem with that and are happy to go with the cheaper option but it's something worth mentioning.

Thank god you mentioned it. Hope Jessops will match the price(dought it now)

Jansey B do you think it's a good starter DSLR camera?

Nikon seem to make the better entry level cameras, I would advise trying one out just to make sure you're comfortable. It's hard to buy a bad DSLR really.

Good advice and I'll take it. I just found out that the lens kit with the D3300 is only 9MP so more to look in to.

Oh god..now I've found the D5300 for a few pounds more. More reading to do.

Where did you see that? The lens has no bearing on the resolution of the image. It's 24MP regardless of lens. I would go for the D5300 if you can afford it,You get Wifi, a flippy screen, built in GPS and 14bit RAW.

It was in a video review by Tony Northup on you tube. And there are posts about it on the web. Yeh I'm going for the D5300 from that cheap place :)

A quick check on what it is and would say stay well clear,, looks pretty terrible if you ask me. Giant camera for a tiny sensor, just no point.

I'm with you, it's a bit of a confusing subject but for all intents and purposes the image is 24MP. You'll obviously gain better pictures once you upgrade the lens but to start off with you'll be fine and image quality will be more than good enough.

Thanks again. I will order tomorrow and save for a better lens if I need one.
This camera is to just get me out\hobby as I've got a electric wheelchair coming soon :)

Probably somewhere like DX0Mark that give lenses a MP rating for reason rather than using proper MTF50 charts.

Pretty much every lens is rated massively lower than the sensor over at that site. And they think their new rating system is easier to understand.

@Janesy B

Just got my Nikon D5300 and it looks very nice :)
I'm just reading some photo\DLSR books before I take it out. I just need to get a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR now.

Thank all for your help.
