samsung web browser

Merry Christmas to all. I have a samsung phone and tablet and they synchronise fantastic and the samsung web browser is absolutely brilliant
customisation you can do to suit your needs is great and I prefer it to microsoft edge and google chrome but this is the problem I am having is a lot of
websites ie: companies, facebook , and even my online banking site say you are using a unsupported browser how come that samsung who are just as big as these
other companies who refuse to let me use the browser that I want to use some websites I can't get on... so dose it look like I'm not going to be able to use samsung browser

yes I was on my banking app doing something when it said
to go online banking and on the website it said I was using
a unsecured/unsupported browser which was samsung

I can take one no problem but I don't know how to upload it I have tried before with no success

Use a third party service and link it. https://imgbb.com should work

sorry but I still can't do it I am not technically minded. so I struggle.

I've been using the Samsung browser for years with no issues. It works well, is lightweight and has all the extensions and ad block too.

I've had to update from the Samsung Store rather than the main store though.

do you mean the galaxy store app for getting updates thanks

No worries, are you able to take a screenshot of the error and upload that? I am struggling to understand what is actually happening.

Do you have an app you can use for your bank as they normally do?

yes my bank technical support went through some settings and it's working fine it's Just facebook keeps telling me I'm using a unsupported browser.

Samsung is usually based on an older version of Blink, hence why it may come up as unsupported sometimes. Haven't checked in a while too but are they also using their own user agent?

I don't have the facebook app installed on my phone so any links or emails always take me to the website which works without any unsupported message. Are you forcing the desktop version?

Ah-ha! Forced the desktop site on my phone and am now also getting
'Unsupported browser

Try changing the the mobile website, m.facebook.com or choose the mobile site option within settings.
