Having built a computer out of bits, I now want a decent monitor to replace the tiny HP CRT i blagged

I like Samsung but cant see the difference between the latest model numbers

Is there like an easy way to explain it?

well the 226 bw and cw to start and then the age old shall i go for the 2232.

Well the SM226BW was the original version, and then Samsung updated it for the SM226CW with enhanced backlighting. That model offers a wider colour gamut covering 97% of the NTSC colour space, as opposed to the usual 72% (sRGB space).
