Hi OC-Team,

I have been speaking to Samsung about the dreaded vertical banding issue on the C49HG90 49"

In case you have never seen it as below, happens on cold start and if left on goes away after about 15-mins and from my reading, it's a common issue.



They have recommended contacting:

The reason I ask is the google reviews are shocking!

Its outside warranty; it was purchased from OCers Oct 2018.

Is there anyone else you recommend or have experience with for Samsung repairs?

No experience in monitor repairs, but if its anything like their phone service I would suggest investing in some good quality lube.

Good luck, personally wouldn't buy anything from Scamsung ever again
