After 5 months I now have the money and the time to buy a nice large screen TV. For months I've had my eye on the Samsung SP50L6HX which has now disappeared from shops, after enquiring in the red signed superstore they've been discontinued which has really disappointed me. Does anyone know if they are bringing out a new range? and when? I'm also open to alternatives as long as it’s preferably 50inch HDTV primarily for XBOX 360 use, my budget is around £1300.

Jesus thats a wide sucker (1296mm over the samsungs 1182) can you take the speakers off?
This tech sheet states the size without speakers but doesnt mention if they are:

Might be a deciding factor for me since theres only about 120cm of space in the corner of the room to put it in.

Only 1 component input tho, not too good when I've got a 360 and a PS3 sat next to each other Sounds good overwise, I'll probably be ordering on Tuesday if I can convice myself this is a worthwhile buy
